PFLAG-KC is the local chapter of PFLAG in our area. It meets twice a month in two locations in support of loved ones, family and friends of LGBTQ persons. This support extends to LGBTQ persons themselves and especially youth during the coming out process. The meetings provide a place to share confidentially in a group support environment (if desired, a smaller group can be arranged). Educational presentations are also made during the meetings. Fellowship on many levels can occur among attendees. PFLAG also works extensively in the LGBTQ and broader communities.
