When teaching with primary sources, artifacts, or digital objects, thinking outside of the box when searching for lesson plans can be a beneficial thing. Several digital collections from prominent museums and libraries offer lesson plans and/or packages to teaching with their collections. Utilizing artifacts, primary sources, and digital collections can add depth and active learning pedagogy initiatives to the lesson and can be tailored to fit almost all areas of study.
