BEA: Broadcast Education Association
The Broadcast Education Association (BEA) is the premier international academic media organization, driving insights, excellence in media production, and career advancement for educators, students, and professionals. Kansas Speech Communication Association
From its early roots the KSCA has grown into a responsive organization of professionals interested and engaged in the art of effective communication.Today, the KSCA is active in its support for high school activities, teacher certification and licensure, curricular concerns, speaking and listening assessments, as well as other communication related issues.
National Communication Association

Rhetoric Society of America
The purposes of the Society shall be to gather from all relevant fields of study, and to disseminate among its members, current knowledge of rhetoric, broadly construed; to identify new areas within the subject of rhetoric in which research is especially needed, and to stimulate such research; to encourage experimentation in the teaching of rhetoric; to facilitate professional cooperation among its members, to organize meetings at which members may exchange findings and ideas; and to sponsor the publication of such materials dealing with rhetoric.
